Every card shows which teams have current openings, which positions the coach is looking to fill, and how to reach the club directly. If your daughter or son is looking for a club to join — mid-season, pre-tryout, or after a move — this is the fastest way to find one.

How to use Open Spots

  1. Search by zip code or city. Results are ranked by distance so families see nearby clubs first.
  2. Review each club's current needs. Cards display the team name and the specific positions the coach is looking to fill — setter, libero, outside hitter, middle blocker, right side, DS, or general pin hitters.
  3. Open the detail view for team description, coaches, cost estimates, and remaining roster spots.
  4. Message the club directly using the Message button on any card — no phone tag or forwarded emails.

Who lists on Open Spots

Only verified clubs with published profiles can list open roster spots. Every listing is tied to a real team on the club's roster and is removed automatically when the position is filled or the season closes. That means the openings you see here are current, not stale postings from last year.

New teams are added throughout the year, so families who don't see a fit today are encouraged to follow local clubs to be notified when a new opening is posted.
